What happens if you do NOT choose a location? The information derived from this page pertains ONLY to facilities and organizations located outside official IACC chapters. If you submit the wrong application for your chapter, IACC will require you to re-submit chapter-specific forms and to pay supplemental fees before your application can progress.

The establishment and maintenance of standards for membership, Annual Conferences, Professional Development programs, this website, periodic newsletters, and aggressive marketing initiatives—all serve to help us accomplish this goal.

Every application for Active membership undergoes an extensive review to ensure full compliance with the Universal Criteria. The review takes place at a number of levels within IACC; it typically includes a Package Confirmation Call, an on-site inspection and ultimately must garner approval from the Board of Directors. Barring complications, three to six months may elapse between the prospect’s submission of an application and IACC's formal acceptance of a facility’s membership.
IACC will not begin the review process until an application is complete.A complete application comprises four items:
Application form.
Quality Assurance Checklist.
Full payment of first-year’s dues and initiation fees.
Supporting collateral.
Collateral must include at least a floor plan and capacities chart for all meeting rooms on site. In addition, you may wish to provide other marketing literature that demonstrates the facility’s compliance with IACC's criteria.
