IACC Meeting Room of the Future Goes Live at MPI WEC
From the very beginning, when the Meeting Room of the Future was a dreamed up, it was always a vision to create a physical interpretation of what meetings experiences will look like in the future.
After 4 successful years of researching and reporting, IACC created a showcase at the world’s largest gathering of meeting professionals, over 2,000 attendees, at MPI’s World Education Congress in Toronto.
The showcase was built in the main concourse of the conference venue, the Toronto Metro Convention Centre, with event partners PSAV, Slido and All Seated and supported by a grant given by the MPI Foundation.
IACC delivered 14 unique educational sessions with guest speakers of the highest calibre, from organisations including Gensler, Deloitte University, TD Bank, Dolce, Benchmark, Vantage Venues, Sodexo and Aramark. Session topics used to educate over 500 participants were varied and insightful and you can watch these on our YouTube channel today.
Mark Cooper, IACC CEO commented “As we facilitated debates around the future of meetings, with global meeting planners, it was quickly evident that they want to understand and develop their events from a basis of understanding. With knowledge, comes less risk and we created an environment ideal to look into the future, side by side and for IACC venues to be considered the ideal partner.”

Jessie States, Director of the MPI Academy shared with IACC her thoughts “Such amazing work by the IACC team is deservedly recognized by our community and attendees. We appreciate the education, knowledge and applicable context you bring to our live events. Together we are stronger!”
IACC wishes to thank all companies and individuals for helping create the showcase and deliver a rich program of learning.
