The dramatic and continued impact of COVID-19 to the meetings and events industry has resulted in unprecedented disruption and uncertainty. Those able to continue to work have experienced remarkable shifts in how they conduct business and how businesses operate. Others are facing a career disruption through furloughs or job loss. As a result, our workforce has seen pressures like they have never seen before – no matter what side of the industry you are on.

In response, the Events Industry Council formed the APEX COVID-19 Business Recovery Task Force. The task force work streams are focused on aggregating and curating accepted practices across the events ecosystem and providing a framework for recovery and resilience as the industry adapts to its most significant disruption.

Join members of the Workforce and Wellness working group for a fireside chat to connect and learn how each has been impacted, how they are dealing with their own wellness, and lessons they have learned along their career paths and personal journeys.

This fireside chat is intended to connect you to peers who will share their own personal experiences and resources, in addition to discussing the findings of the task force Workforce and Wellness working group.
