IACC 2024 Global Copper Skillet Final Crowns Champions from Sweden and Denmark

The Global Copper Skillet Competition took place on day two of the 2024 IACC Americas Knowledge Exchange in Basking Ridge, NJ.

Finalists from the US, Canada, Denmark and Sweden competed for the title of Global Copper Skillet Champion, thanks to 2024 competition sponsors The Ridge Hotel and Conference Center, Encore, and Nestle.

IACC CEO Mark Cooper commented, “This competition showcases the culinary skill found at IACC properties and continues to be an exciting highlight of IACC’s conference. Seven chefs at the top of their game competed at an exceptionally high standard.”

2024 Copper Skillet Champions

Winners were announced during the awards dinner on Friday evening.

Ruth Weldegiorgis of Sigtunahöjden, Sweden, was named Senior Chef Champion and Rikki Raahauge of Hotel Vejlefjord, Denmark, was named Junior Chef Champion.
