LONDON, UK (June 2, 2014) — IACC
IACC is pleased to announce that it will be representing members at the Meetings Show on 8 -10 July 2014. This will be the first exhibition taking place in the UK where IACC will be involved and European members are invited to take part.
“We have been looking for a suitable partner in the UK for some time now and Meetings Show looks like a very worthwhile partner for IACC with 55% of last years 3,500 attendees placing meetings throughout Europe. We are looking forward to build a strong relationship with the organisers of the Meetings Show, as they continue to set up a profile as one of the key events in the UK and European meetings industry”, commented Mark Cooper, IACC’s CEO.
The Meetings Show is a major event for the UK inbound and outbound Meetings Industry taking place 8-10 July 2014 at Olympia, London. Organised by Meeting Professionals for Meeting Professionals and featuring a large exhibition, networking opportunities and professional education, The Meetings Show provides a new home for the Meetings Industry in the UK. The Hosted Buyer Programme – the largest ever in the UK – lies at the core of the exhibition attracting buyers from the corporate, association, agency and public sectors all of whom take part in pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors.
Steve Knight, event director, of the The Meetings Show commented: “We are delighted about the opportunity to be partnering with IACC for this years’ Meetings Show. As a leading international association its members are a core part of our audience and we look forward to welcoming them to the show in July. The Meetings Show will offer both IACC and its members the ideal opportunity to meet, network and do business at the only event of this calibre in the UK meetings and events market.”
As with other exhibitions, members can join the IACC team and spend time at the IACC stand to meet buyers. This opportunity is cost free to our members and you can join by emailing Charlene Bawin at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
