Warwick Conferences is an award winning conference and events company based in the heart of the midlands and is owned and run by the University of Warwick.
Reporting to the Director of Warwick Conferences and managing the Sales and Events teams, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of all reactive Sales & Event Management activity, delivering on the department’s goals and objectives. You will utilise your leadership ability, revenue management skills and strong business sense to consistently exceed occupancy and revenue goals whilst ensuring you recruit, motivate, support and grow a team of Sales Managers and Event Managers to do the same.
Skills & Experience
You will have extensive experience of working in a hotel/conference venue in a senior leadership role, with in-depth knowledge of the competition and the wider market. Experience of managing a large team responsible for selling across multiple venues is essential along with a high level of analytical reasoning, organisational skills and planning capability.
