Job Description

The Learning and Engagement Director coordinates, develops and delivers our live, virtual, and digital training platforms to further the organizations culture and service delivery standards. They will work in partnership with the Director of Operations to execute as well as developing a roadmap for future programs and initiatives to further enhance service delivery. The Director leads a culture of continuous learning and partners with senior leaders to ensure that our teams continually elevate their hospitality and relationship building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build well designed and curated high impact learning offerings in collaboration with our international training team to consistently deliver service standards equivalent to 5-Star / 5-Diamond
  • Ensure learning solutions are driving business outcomes and supporting account managers needs to successfully support their client needs
  • Drive implementation and adoption strategies of learning programming with measurable results including our online engagement platform MyRapport
  • Develop trainings in alignment to Rapport audit standards, share micro learnings and track implementation.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on data related to learning programs including an average yearly goal of 40 hours of development for each associate
  • Communicate outcomes and results to business stakeholders including management of learning and engagement P&L
  • Develops and supports a train-the-trainer program and design support materials for the program
  • Champions standards of service and culture to ensure consistent execution in all aspects of the business
  • Contribute a build the Rapport culture by promoting virtual and in person team building engagements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous demonstrable success in a Learning and Development role, with experience in training design, development, delivery, and facilitation in 5-Star / 5-Diamond Hotel environment or equivalent
  • Strong technical skills: PowerPoint, Excel
  • Knowledge of the external best practice and learning technologies
  • Client-focused, proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement
  • Rigorous attention to detail: ability to execute on numerous workstreams within the same timeframe
  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of time
