Friday Conference Center

Overview

The Friday Conference Center provides exceptional, flexible event and meeting spaces for a variety of purposes, from large conventions and banquet receptions to small seminars to professional development workshops. Our clients include organizations from both inside and outside The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.Our IACC-certified venue includes a skylit atrium, a formal auditorium, a banquet hall, and a variety of flexible meeting spaces -- 39,000 square feet in all. Our services include event planning, concierge A/V support, catering integration and a wide range of amenities.

Location

Located just off I-40 near UNC-Chapel Hill's campus, the Friday Conference Center is convenient to Chapel Hill, Durham, and RTP.

Meeting Facilities

The Friday Conference Center’s 26 meeting rooms and sunlit central atrium are all handicap accessible, on one level, and can be configured in a variety of formats to suit groups of different sizes, purposes, and technological needs. We host events of all sizes, including conventions, banquets, conferences and private receptions. Most of our meeting rooms feature built-in sound and projection systems, touch panel controls for lighting, assistive listening devices and wheelchair-accessible tables.

Business Services

We can provide a range of business services and conveniences, including day offices, a business center with copy and fax services, advance deliveries and hotel integration.

Dining & Entertainment

Our event catering services provide the ideal dining and décor to meet your individual specifications. Our experienced staff and chefs will work with you to design the perfect menu for you and your guests. From light or hearty, to casual or elegant, their team will guide you through breakfast, lunch, dinner, refreshment breaks, and receptions. Special requests and dietary needs can also be arranged, and they can provide special food events as needed throughout our facility.

Guest Rooms
